As told by Stobaeus ...someone who had begun to learn geometry with Euclid, when he had learnt the first theorem, asked Euclid "What shall I get by learning these things?" Euclid called his slave and said "Give him threepence since he must make gain out of what he learns".
Well there is a *slight* pattern to it, but nothing definitive. Anything between 1 and 3900 was assembled in 2003, 3900 to about 8000-10000 was assembled in 2004, but after that there's pretty much no way to know. Somebody may have a gun that was assembled in 2006 with a serial in the 17 thousands, whereas someboey else may have one in the 13 thousands.
