it's supposed to adjust bolt pressure and speed in both directions
allowing you to shoot brittle paint.
i have one but it's not installed as of yet

new manifold plates dont do much. the only reason to spend your money on them would be if you have nothing else to buy for your gun, or you strip out your current one. I wouldnt buy it though.

So let me see,
I asked "if anyone had an Adjustable manifold" and "what do you think".
What I get in response is:
Guy A & B both of you have never even seen what I'm talking about. Thanks for the reply, it helped how?
Guy C has no clue, hasn't had one, sooooo your post helped me how?
Guy D, a friend of mine, we'll be testing his soon, the most help so far but he posted just to enlighten guys A,B, & C.
Guy E do you have one? Have you ever bought one? Do you know what your talking about? Answer to all I believe to be NO. Thanks for your opinion on something you've never owned and by your post never will.
Now I welcome any help with my question, but if your not going to help with the question please don't waste the bandwidth!

You aren't talking about the Stainless Steel Ported Manifolds are you?
If so then I have one and havent experienced FSDO or anything like that...
I have the SS PORTED MANIFOLD, an HE bolt, Dynasty board and CP reg...
Long story but I now get FSDO with the CP reg but it is just until I have the proper macro fitting. It only occurs when the 90 degree fitting on the Reg is twisted left or right that I get a tiny tiny air leak out the hose and after like 30 minutes of no use but aired up, that first shot sometimes drops off... Other than that, it is shooting darts. Is it from the manifold, Probably not just that...
All in All, it is better metal being used and they port the holes for more air to flow in... Is it worth it?
I like it.
If you are talking about an "ADJUSTABLE" manifold then I dont know of one existing.
EDIT:
I JUST READ ABOUT IT FROM "ZDSPB.com"
Smart Parts Air Vent manifold is what it is called! Only available in europe as of now, Just seen some from US Stores when I googled it... $50 at some stores!!! wow! Pricey.
HERE IS EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES:
"The Air Vent is a replacement solenoid manifold that allows you to adjust the air flow to the solenoid, therefore slowing the bolt down, allowing you to shoot the most brittle, thinner than a hair shelled paint-and not break it, ever. The Air Vent also works in the opposite way to help focus pressure into the solenoid more directly to keep pressure and performance up in cold weather. This is all done with the simple use of set screws to adjust flow. Now you have two more options to make a great marker even greater."

Yep that's the one. I can get them from Sp myself. The only problem is that what you got off Andy's site came directly out of Sp's catalog. I'm not sure if I believe everything a manufacture prints you know what I mean?
But thanks for your help.

OK.......i dont understand how my 1 post (now 2) matters in bandwidth (ok, maybe .000002 ms of time wasted) but regardless, i was curious what it was, and wanted to pin the thread at the top so others would see it......

Okay okay okay we dont' need to argue.
Anyways you are correct that there's a lot of hype in that promo. The deal with the air vent is that it has set screws placed in positions to block air passages leading into the outputs of hte solenoid. Blocking these off will have the effect of decreasing the volume of air to the bolt, which will more or less slow it down.
It won't, however, speed anything up. And what they're leaving out is how much of a horrible pain in the *** that it is to adjust. In my opinion.

In that case thanks for the up. As for the bandwidth it wasn't really directed at you. And if you have a genuine intrest in the topic then my apoligies, it was really directed at Guy E.
And Andy thanks for your opinion it carries alot of weight.
