convert 2-Liter+ (HP to LP)

Hi AKA gurus,

Need some advice.

Already have an original 2-Liter, and love it. Great REG!

Trying to get a 2-Liter+ (HP) for cheap, and I then want get a LP piston to convert it to LP operation to put on my B2k4 bushy. I've got a CP on it now.

If i'm not mistaken, that is the only difference.

Would AKA give up a piston for cheap?

Thanks for the help,

Oh man, good question. I am not familliar with the inner workings of the 2litre... but I know they are great regs. This would be a question for the AKA forums. Conversely I would give AKA a call.

I know back in the day, Aaron K Alexander designed the original 2-Liter, which i have one... and the Plus

can't find a 2-liter+ manual.

He stated that with the 2-Liter+ The springs are the same regardless of LP HP, but the piston size IS different.

I had a link from a post in the AKA forum back in the day, can't find it and too many peeps to search. However, that was awhile back, and AKA might have tweaked the design elsewhere.

But hey, if i can get a HP version for $50 bucks and swap out a piston, probably worth it.

AKA forum giving me no love at all!

I guess i will have to call. Thought some of the gurus and techs might have run across this. If you haven't seen it Spitle, then i'm going to have to call.

I should throw it up on ICDO...
