Bush says we are in World War III

LOL great job. I new i'd live to see it.

But he said he agreed with the description of David Beamer, whose son Todd died in the crash, who in a Wall Street Journal commentary last month called it "our first successful counter-attack in our homeland in this new global war -- World War III".

Bush said: "I believe that. I believe that it was the first counter-attack to World War III.

It's pretty much dead now. My cousin was just stationed in Iraq for the past year and a half in the marine corps, said that he hasn't seen a single insurgent since his first deployment when he was clearing Fallujah. He says that the worst is easily over by now. Ask any soldier on the boards here I bet they would agree, depending on where they were stationed. Recently he was stationed outside of Baghdad somewhere he didn't tell me exactly where it was.

Also, keep in mind that insurgents don't want to be seen. Sniper attacks, and IEDs work quite well. They know they will lose fighters if they go heads up with our military so why try?

not only that if they can lure the United States out by making the place seem safe, they might be able to overwhelm the ISF as soon as the US troops are gona and seize back control of the Country.

With us there we are the enemy. When we are gone the insurgents are the enemy. "Leave now, and never come back!"-Gollum, amazing Tolkien was a genius!

sounds to me more like he was trying to make the death of the man's son seem like it occurred because of more than just ****ty luck.

since march of 2003, our average is 63 US soldiers dead a month.

a month.

to some, that's not a lot. to others, that's way too much, considering the violence is daily.

daily.

63 dead soldiers a month (not counting the 17,000 wounded), for a war, Colin Powell is now saying is unwinnable unless we send in more troops. and again these are estimates...some months its over a hundred US dead, and some months only 30 or so.

to me, and please don't take any disrespect here, but that does not sound like Iraq is dead.

sounds like the violence is getting worse to me.

haha do you like to disagree with anything randomly even though your'e wrong?

if i say " yup i agree, we're in world war 3 " ...

then i just said we're at world war 3

so...actually he did say it...like omg the miracle of language!

never was it suggested that bush came up with the idea of world war 3, simply that he VERBALLY STATED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE VIA THE PRESS THAT HE CONCURRED THAT WE ARE IN WORLD WAR 3.

Well if we aren't in the beginning of it now, we will be sometime soon if the government keeps pissing off foreign leaders/governments. IE: Iran, NKorea, China, and now Cheyney with Russia, and so on...

The troops will pull out of Iraq (for the most part) sooner or later.....but they won't be coming home, they'll be moving on to the next threat (Iran, Pakistan, or somewhere else). IMO America will have armies in the MidEast...from now on.

I suspect that if the issues with Iran escalate, we'll find support coming from Iran to actually decrease, as they'll have their worthless hands full with Israel "dropping in" for a visit! Attacks on civilans are up despite the majority wanting the violence to stop, they don't seem to be helping coalition forces in seeking out insurgents hiding within the various neighborhoods, and I can partially understand why, but it will come to a boiling point soon, and I believe we'll see better cooperation because in the end, it means we'll start leaving their country under their control.

You are wrong. Pulling troops out or its opposite(putting tons in) will both work. The question is what way do you want to go, and are you willing to act that way. The US will not win if it does not decide between the two and stands in the middle.

bush says tons of stuff that makes no sense/is untrue

Bush may think it's world war 3, but he probably thinks he's making a positive impact in the world...
