I figured out where the voltage regulator was, so out of bordom I thought it would be fun to experiment taking the regulator off to make it run 18 volts. So I took it off and now the motor spins very fast. It feeds faster but it still isn't very consistant so I'll probably get an impeller. I think I fryed the part of the board that controls the eyes so now the eyes don't work. these mods have been done before just not on x-boards I think.

If you figure out what I did I'm not responsible if you fry your board

i could tell by the title of this thread that something was gonna end up being fryed.

if you remove the stock reistor then you should replace it with another one just one that allows a little bit more power then the old one. That way you don't mess up your board.

I was wondering how long it was gonna take before someone else figured that out.
I bypassed that resister for about ten seconds and decided that was a horrible idea. Too bad about your board, but that just confirms my initial reaction to the speed.

Lesson:
if you want to PR your revvy do it right, or just hook up the batts straight to the servo and save yourself a board.

The board isn't fryed the eyes just don't work. I used it on my bko today and I didn't chop at all

ok so replace the eyes and put the eye wiring through that resister. that'll fix it.
