Angry Paintball Problem

I recently purchased an Angry paintball Board. I Installed it perfectly fine, I have installed other boards before so I know what I am doing. Turned on worked fine, used it for practice, and it worked fine. Then It just went downhill. I went to CTS and it just stopped working. I checked it once I got home, and the board was fried in a spot. I know It was installed right, and I know my halo didnt do it, because It was brand new as well. The board fried, and then fried by halo motor. When you turned on the halo, the board would get REALLY hot, you could tell it was the board. You can Also see where the board fried at. This same exact problem happened to a friends board a week after my experience. I emailed Angry Paintball around 3 Times asking them questions, and Asking if it would be possible to get it replaced, but never recieved any answer. Angry paintball has very poor consumer help. I will never purchase from them again. The least they could do is replace my board, I payed 60 bucks just for it to not work?

I was posting this hoping someone reads it that thinking about buying a new board. I recommend just sticking to the stock board, most reliable. Havent tryed the cheetah yet though.

Thanks
RYan

well if you had something like a Boost pack it could be the problem. Thats why Cheetah has stated that if you used them it voids your warrenty.

no that was a flame. he gives good and unbiased advice as do I. He had the same reaction/thought to that I did as I don't normally associate angry boards with frying.

I have an angry board and The red Light always blinks since I installed it and tried 2 different sets of AA batteries. I have emailed angry twice and no answer their customer service sucks. I have added them to my list of companies that run their business like a hobby.

He didn't say anything about his hopper other then that he has the Angry board.

Lets just get this straight. I don't know much about how your battery packs are going bad. Heck I don't even know if they really are. I don't hate your product since I've not tested one. Since he's said that he's installed other boards before I thought maybe he's gone to other items for his hopper. Thus making a Boost or Bone pack a passable add-on.

All I do know is that if Tag released something then maybe 1 or 2 have gone bad. With that it could happen to a lesser board since the Cheetah is built to handle more power then needed. The Angry board is a lot like the stock board, just a few differences here and there.

Heck he might have ran it off a car battery for all I know. But it's just a question since it's pretty clear that the board had to much power to it, or a resistor is bad.

He said the halo motor was fried also. Mabe it happened the other way

around; the motor failed as a result, because of the increased current draw

of the motor, being locked up, fried the board.

Very possible, and likely, though that is normally associated with halos that have had their battery packs or boards modified ie PR mod.

Well The board fried first. Because the motor still worked for awhile then it stopped. But my point is angry paintball is a complete joke. They dont even answer emails, and anything. I suggest never buying their products...
