****Defiant 1****

Hey fellas,

I had a couple questions on the Boblong Defiant 1. What years were they made from, what board and modes did it come with, and are they reliable guns. Im in the middle of a trade, that hopefully goes through, and i probably should have done this research first but better late than never.

I think they were 01-02 mabye. The board was the typical dip switch not many modes I think.

Definately reliable, basically an old school bushmaster.

Ask the trader too, he should know.

The bonus there is that it is compatible with nearly all Bushmaster upgrades. The bad thing? It's a bit larger than a Bushmaster.

The Defiants were made from 98 to 01. Also ask if it has been drilled for PDS. If it is you defiantly have a good trade, if not depends on what condition it is in

One thing I noticed is putting PDS on Defiants now is next to impossible. I dont carry the eye covers, and the only place I know that has some spare around is....eh i forget...

I did a Defiant PDS install. Piece of cake. You just need the proper eye covers, which are available from ICD.

I bought some late last year.. maybe they've run out - although I thought Acid Rain on here was producing some, too.. not sure about that.

We did discontinue the defiant eye covers but you can modify the bushmaster 2000 eye covers to fit. You just have to sand down the eye covers at the hump between the two tubes. I just had my defiant drilled a week ago and had to do this for mine.

My friend has a Defiant one, it was a bushy before bushies, that ICD made, but Bob Long put his name on them. THey are pretty nice, and not much different than bushmasters, cept they have cocker-threads.
