If you could get your cocker teflon coated would you pay extra for it? Would make cleaning alot easier not to mention other advantages

Well I don't really see the point. Nothing sticks to annodizing very well so what would teflon accomplish?

Nope I wouldnt pay for it. I don't see the point. If you have a rag and water cleaning should be easy already.

Ok I guess that I should not be so sercumspect about my explanation. This coating is so slick that if you get hit in the gun the paint pretty much just flys off. and it would only be like 5 bucks more then a standard ano job. Plus reduces friction on the bolt more then 100 percent. Also it is more corosion resistant. Nothing can touch this stuff you can dip it in a very strong acid soulution and the ano is not touched

ok the reason that I ask is that I do some small studio anodizing jobs. Like plaques and stuff like that. I got a sample of the teflon sealer from my supplier and used it to do my cocker. I was thinking of expanding my anodizing biz to paintball guns and was wondering if ppl would like to have the teflon coating on there guns too. I wanted to know this before I ordered it cause I would have to order 5 gallons of it andit is like 50 dollars a gallon. Also helps with shooting threw a break in your barrel. Of the barrel is correctly sized to the ball it shoots the barrel clean in a shot or two. Also helped me reduce my cycling preasure by about 3/4 of a turn on my rock.

I was thinking of charging 100 for a single color anodizing job on a gun that would include polishing or dust finish. so if I ws to do the Teflon coating it would be 105. Also you think that 100 bucks for ano ano job with a week turnaround would bee a good deal?

I would do 75 with polishing/anno and 80 with the teflon. 100 is a bit much for one color but if you polish the parts before, it's not that bad.

As far as I have seen 125 is the lowest that I can find for a single color full gun. I know that there is a place called bling bling or something like that that is doing just bodies for 75. Also there is at least 2 hours of work in doing all the parts that come in a gun. I am not talking about limiting you to 15 parts pretty much if you send a complete gun I do it for 100 bucks. SO say you have a full gun and 3 barrles it is 100 bucks. Have a drop to go with it cool want your red done cool. If you can show me a place that would do it cheaper please send the URL and I will rethink my pricing.

well produce a website or a phone #. I know that a shop is not doing it for that price. I would bet that it is a person doing it in there garage. If you don't anodize Aluminum correctly you will burn it or melt it. you ahve to figure a real shop has to make 50 dollars an hour to make money so a 2 color fade would cost at least 150 bucks. I spent more then 10,000 dollars on my anodizing set up. I know that you can not duplicate the work that I can do with some 5 gallon buckets and a battery charger.

Quality work is worth paying for, most of us know that. Do you have any examples of your work? I have a gun i want re-annoed.

Link is in the sig. Although his site is down currently. He is changing his site and adding new stuff to it. Iw should be up soon. It's a team price but he's pretty cheap with anno though. If you want to see some of his work/customer service. Go to the martix forum and ask snapper about his matrix. Better yet i'll find the link.
Do you see any pitting?

I will be posting some pictures next weekend after I finish up my first batch of customer guns. Also I will take some pictures of the electro polish before I anodize the parts. Looks like Me262 does a good job and props to him. But just wait till you see some of the really cool graphic anodizing that I can do you will be drooling. So bear with me till sunday and I will have some sweet pics up for you to see.

Yes I we are going to charge $100 dollars for a single color with dust or polish. I have not figured out what I am going to charge for a splash or fade yet. But a two color splash or fade I am thinking about 150 to 175. I am getting some really cool dyes that I can silk screen logos pictures ect on your gun with but that is a bit in the future after I have perfected it. Also our turnaround is going to be no more then a week.

I think your price is fair and the turn around is even better, when you get things up and going shoot me a PM I got 2 freeflows you can tear into. Cockermatt me262 does a good job, there may be a cheaper anno out there, but he is in the ball park on his price.
