just thought i would make my presence known in the forum. i like to be a good asset to forums, so here i am. within the week i will be purchasing a NIB proto 06 and im sure i will have some questions like:

do i need to do anyting to it out of the box to make sure that it works ok?

i would take it all appart and make sure its all lubed and the orings are good first.. but thats just me... other than that just gas it up and hope it works.

When you get your PM6, wipe off the old lube on the bolt and add a fresh coat of lube and also check for metal shavings on the bolt. Some PM6s have ASAs that don't fit quite right on some HPA tanks. Just remember, if you feel any resistance, don't put any more force in screwing in the tank.

Yea we usually welcome anyone until you do something stupid and post in the wrong forum or ask a really dumb question that is answered in the stickies. Other than that the Dye/Proto family treats its members nicely. Enjoy your stay and dont do stupid ****

haha i will do my best to keep off the stupidity. i have one other question.

i dont know how many of you have every owned a smart parts gun, but there was a guy who made a website with walkthroughs and digital pictures of the internals and how everything inside works on SP guns. its called ZDSpaintball. i was just wondering if there was a similar place for Dye/Proto stuff or if i pretty much should just stay with the stickies.
