pretty quick newbish pm6 question

-im pretty new to my pm6.

-ive noticed it uses a rediculous ammount of air, it's loud and a ton of air shoots out the back when i shoot. my lpr is fairly adjusted well, and my dwell is at 13.

- whats a good dwell setting ?

sooo 18 is a good dwell setting.

What will a lower dwell do? - less efficient but softer hit ?

Use the stickes, they do wonders. or for those who are really lazy, the link in my thread will do.

1-use the stickies to tune it
2-keep it at 18 for now
3-do the tophat and 530 mods..theyre free
4-get that lpr down
5-change out the urethane 017 o-rings on the tophat and beercan
6- lose that dye lube

that should get you up and running excellent..my pm6 shoots smoother with less kick now than my really upped gen-e trix...which is absolutely the smoothest gun I've ever shot....ever.

Actually lowering the dwell will give you better efficiency but will actually hit the ball much harder than if set on a stock setting. Having a dwell that low should only be done once the gun is THROUGHLY broken in. Even then the gun becomes very detrimental and you have a larger chance of getting drop off or shoot down. Best thing to do is run it at dwell 18 and lpr at 2.5 for a while then slowly messing with your settings to shoot to how you want it.

Lowering your dwell will require you to raise your HPR setting in order to get the same velocity. In the end, it just about evens up.
