ruined my eye i think.. pm5

Hey, I have a pm5 and today I adjusted my trigger.. I adjusted everything, made sure I didn't pinch any wires, and what do you know, now my led light blinks green. Can I fix this? How big of a chance is there for a chop? Thanks

like when you say its blinking green, do you mean as soon as you turn it on? or when you put something in the brech (with no air) and just shot? or when you shot a stream of paint and it blinks?

I air up my gun, turn it on, it's solid green, so it's reading something in the breech even though there's no ball, then when i shoot once it starts blinking green and i have to turn the eye off. i mean it still shoots on the eye setting, but it shoots just like what it does with just air.

Clean the eyes. If that does nothing, clean the passageways for the eyes. If that does nothing, buy new ones.

to clean the eye, can u actually just pull the eye out of its position?
and the eye ribbon has like a little bend in it, would that cause it to not work?

Mine has a small bend, it works fine. As long as its not a crease.

Use your fingernails and lightly grip the two leads on the back end of the eye. Then wiggle and pull backward ever so lightly and the eyes should could right out. Since you dont even know how to take the eyes out, I assume you havent cleaned them before. Making that almost 100% gauranteed to be the problem.

Clean the eye passageway? Was there any gunk on the eyes?

If the passageway was clean, and the eyes were clean, try one last thing before you buy new eyes...battery.

Stick a Qtip through the passage way. That always works for me, also make sure your connection is completely in. If that doesnt work make sure there are no pinches from the frame and such.

If you pull off the cotton you make the cutip useless though...

Air hose, FTW.

Take the solenoid out. I bet you will find a tear near the juntion where the ribbon branches off to the eyes. It's the weakest point on the ribbon and totally concealed by the noid.
