WG-65 auto firing and not re-cocking grrrrrrrrrr!!!

Hello,

i know this has been discussed before but the problem continues!!

i can fire 20 rounds or so fine and then the marker autofires for about 5-10 times and then does not re-cock. I have lubed and changed o-rings replaced springs and cup seals but still nothing. I am running CO2 and it happens at most pressures. It seems to happen much more with pressures below 700 but will happen with higher pressures too (800-1000 psi).

I find when it happens if if wind in the velocity adjuster it will work again for about 10 shots - and then i wind the adjuster in a bit more and it works again for a few shots - but then the marker is shooting hot!

It seems as if the striker is not getting back far enough to fully recock ??

your help is much appreciated!!!

Al.

Low on Co2? Using too think of a lube? What kinda lube are you using? If using Co2, should be using oil, NOT lube. What is your velocity at? If itis not high enough, possibly the valve isn't putting out enough air to fully re-cock the bolt. Maybe something is up with your valve.

Still having problems

I use a teflon gun oil, and the velocity is fairly high. I'm fairly sure the valve is alright to.

The problem could be a number of things. Low pressure reg on a HPA tank, worn sear or sear spring, low on air.

the problem that i had was the sear spring, the loop that holds the spring on the sear broke and it fell out of the gun leaving the sear loose and not able to catch the bolt causing the gun to autofire through a full tank. that might be your problem. i just need to find a new spring.

WG-65 Not Recocking

Hello,

I am having the same problem. Its driving me Crazy!!!!!!! My gun will shoot perfectly on CO2 but won't recock on HPA. We have replaced all of the O-rings, replaced the cup seal, and messed with the springs.

Anyone have any idea's or experience with this problem?

Thanks,

Omarroman

Your HPA tank doesn't have enough pressure to recock the gun. Your tank needs an 850 PSI output. If you have this then purchase a composite bolt from Bandit Bolts.
