The Millard Jaycees will be providing concessions for the Midwest Shootout. We will have coffee and donuts at 7am for breakfast and for lunch we will be serving brats, hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips and pop. We also will have a limited supply of gatorade, water, and candy. We hope to see you there...

Great, I know for sure that I also left off 3 teams from connection, as well as several local teams trading players around to make the divisions. We do have space left so if your still sitting on the fence just call the 800# on the site to get regestered.
http://tourney.huskerpaintball.com/ The weather report looks good for the weekend and we are recieving rain now so the ground should be in good shape. Will post Div. upto date shortly. Dana

Here's what I know...
Amateur
1st-Warped Image
2nd-Express
Novice
1st-Connection
2nd-P.U.S.H.
3rd-Prowlerz
4th-Frenzy
Rookie
1st-Nebraska Reign aka vicious kidz

Sat. was great weather despite the intense winds. Sunday rained early and stopped late but continued with the wind and overcast skies and then strong winds. We were lucky to get out early as the tornadoes began to sweep through the whole midwest. We're really getting used to playing in the mud and running with 10 lb shoes. I hope the weather cooperates for the whole KC parks and rec tourney. The guys from Kaos that ran the event are great and the event ran extremely smooth despite some wind problems. We had a blast. Congrats to all the teams that won their division

We would like to thank TC Paintballs, all the refs and all the FREE labor as well as all the under paid labor that helped put on this tournament. Most of all I would like to thank ALL the teams who played. NO thanks go out to the weather overnight Sat, and Sunday morning. I hope all the teams got home safe, I will be visiting my friendly insurance guy today, about an hour and a half after cleaning up we received the golf ball size hail. Hope you all missed that! Once again I would like to thank all the Teams for overall great sportsmanship fair play and the willingness to continue in a wet soggy, mud bogged environment. Look forward to seeing a lot of the teams at KCPR triple whammy at the end of May, if you don’t know about it you should…………………….
Thanks Dana

Post results

Can someone from Husker Paintball post the actual divisions and results? Maybe you could actually post the running totals of the preleims and finals on you MIDWEST SHOOTOUT web page. I know that would be alot of work, but it would be informative for us who know alot of the teams but did not get to play.

If you though Nebraska Reign was being Jackasses you either:

1) Didn't watch the game in question.
or
2) Don't know anything about paintball.

Both teams in that game got screwed. If I was on NR I would have been pissed as well.

It was so bad it needs it's own page!

Cory..sorry to hear you had such a crappy time, we had a great time playing you and your novice team. Winning one and losing one to Connection is something we can live with. I even have to take my hat off to that annoying punk Damian for bouncing one off the teacup and dropping it on my tank. Plain and simple we got spanked that game. I'll agree with you on the weather and that we could have finished on Saturday. I won't agree with you about the hotel situation. They go with the hotels that will give the best deals. We had no problems at our hotel except for the tub nozzle shooting across the tub when I turned on the shower. We had one questionable call on field 2, but it didn't matter cause we won the game anyway. Other than that we had no problems with the refing. Val's been around paintball for quite a while, to say he is an idiot is a little harsh. We had a good time at the event. I've played some truly horrible events but they were horrible based on how the outcome affected me and my team. I thought the event went well considering the weather and the number of teams that bailed. As for Nebraska Rain aka the Vicious Kids vs. Spank..that came was just a cluster you know what. There was one mistake that was made and that led to the rest of it. Cory you play for a very good team who for the most part has alot of class (put Damian on Ridilin and that should solve most of the problem). I'm not arguing with you, just saying that not everyone has the same perception as you. Our schedule permitting we will go back for their BYOP event in Sept.
