Different ASA and reg?

Could i replace the stock beehive and asa with a mini cocker asa and say a gen-x reg? Would this be adaquit or is the gladiator or the centerflag the only reg's they recommend to replace the beehive with?

Thanks,
opie

Yup you can use a mini cocker ASA. I had to shave one side of my shocktech ASA to get it to fit right though. I wouldn't use a gen-x on the matrix though, it doesn't go to low enough pressures supposedly. I've been getting really good results with my gladiator, and as reg's go they're not too spendy.

i used a shocktech minicocker ASA and it fit, but i had to use a washer on the male threads so as not to hit the trinity inards . . .

i'm using the centerflag inline which i just got, and it's amazing. i got a string yesterday 278, 278, 278, 281, 278 and i've only put about 1000 shots through it, so it's not fully broken in yet

(that was w/ the stock CP barrel and TC paint, it was warm, and pretty humid, but the paint was fresh, aside from being out that morning)
