Good idea for a thread. Although, the design may be well under way but it will still be interesting to hear the ideas.

In terms of improving on the legend to produce a gun that competes with other high-ends out there, I'd list my improvements as:
1. Weight
2. Smoothness
3. Ability to handle brittle paint
Right now with the legend, the biggest thing it lacks compared to other guns is the weight and ergonomics of the gun. It doesn't fit in your hand as well as guns such as the Clones or Geos do. A substantially lighter marker would also be a big improvement.

Also, I understand that poppet valve guns will have some amount of kick so I'm not hoping for a spoolie. With the legend, it seems that there's certain changes that could be made to reduce the kick. Like I said, in order to compete with other high-end poppet markers, I think this is an area that could be improved upon.

Lastly, I'd say the ability to shoot brittle paint is key. On cold or rainy days, I've experience some problems when trying to shoot paint that other teammates with newer markers didn't have much problem shooting. Obviously the goal is to shoot paint that has as brittle a shell as possible.

The only other thing I would add is to, as Muhcaulk alluded to, spiff up the looks of the marker if you will. A solid color with black parts gets old after a while (unless you got the fade...but that still faded to black).

Bring back a fade that is sick, akin to the mid timmy fades.

Clean simplicity like the Legend but bump the basics like efficiency, with the g6r pushing 20 pods 5-8 is a tad behind.

Full color LED display.

Keep prices competitive, don't go out like a dm12 with 200+ over high ends. Creed market range is fitting.

Smoothness, again many markers now like the ego 11 and g6r offer such customisability that such is almost required to stay alive beyond a year of production.

Things like a barrel kit, even 2 backs similar to Vanguard to me are becoming the industry standard.

Obv other things but decent start for me for now.

Keep the same trigger, but make it smoother and less clinky.
Have the option of a OLED.
Make maintanence the same as the legend.
Make the packaging better (Similar to dye, P.E); I hate taking a cardboard box
Laser eyes.
More, appealing to the eye milling
Tool less style things (Eye covers, etc..)
2 barrel backs
Reduce weight 100%.

In all fairness the legends weight isn't an issue in my eyes due to how evenly balanced the legend is, if you really think about it legend is one of the most if not the most balanced guns on the market imo

-Having an option/model for OLED would be nice, but also have an LED for the poorer/cheaper players.
-Better snatch grip or one at all would be nice.
-Better frame ergonomics. The current one doesn't sit in my hand as I'd like and can be annoying.
-Recessed frame screws.
-Come with a 300psi gauge or at least the option to purchase one with the marker.
-Decent on/off with macro out of the front or be macroless.
-Splash anno.
-Corners rounded off a little more.
-Solenoid to be not as intrusive into the frame, take up less space in frame.
-Screw that secures the trigger or trigger pin in place.

Well that is all I can think of right now.

Mine with a .684 Lurker Barrel, Rotor and CP 68/4500 it is a little back heavy for me, while my XSV Etek balances out just right. However it still feels very nice in the hands and it isn't like some of those markers that are back heavy and feel horrible in the hands.

Individual set up will balance any marker differently.

I love the disconnects for the solenoid and eyes. It is nice not having to unplug everything from your board to get the frame off.

yeah wiring was definately an issue maybe glenn will make a small parts kit or something that he could sell or possibly be included into the packaging of the new marker

There is a wiring kit available. It has all the wires you need, plus some extra parts such as detents, screws and hose. I don't find the wiring to be an issue, just as long as the end user is paying attention to what their doing
