Best footware for outdoor/grass/dirt is the traditional soccer cleat. For indoor, simply use an 'indoor' soccer cleat - a.k.a turf shoes. I play a shatload of soccer, so I simply use my old cleats and turf shoes for each type of surface.

Track shoes are definetely not good to use outside of running on a track. You can develop some serious arch, heel, and knee problems. Tendonitis also develops due to excessive use of track shoes (on non-track surfaces).

that is true, but then i'd be conforming to mediocrity by preparing for failure. Id rather use shoes that will allow me to achieve my full sprinting abilities. Atleast, if i do get shot in the foot, ill learn a lesson and tuck it in next game.

They work well enough. My feet are to wide to fit in most cleats though. My only pair were chewed up and I can't find another good pair.

Every little bit counts. What if you are running and get hit? Everyone prepares for failure. That's why we have squeegees, headbands, jerseys, padded pants, and hoopers with "deflection" shells.

not me, i use the best gun/best paint/best eyes so i dont need a squeegee. i shave my head like a neo-nazi, so i dont need a headband. i wear no shirt when i play so i dont need a jersey. i wear spandex ( agg camo color of course to match my eighties camo work out sox, like that chick in flash dance) just like Lance so i dont need padded paints. and hoppers, i dont need a hopper, i just drop em in one at a time og style, that way i save paint and money. that way i dont prepare for failure by admitting to bounces.

i know all the kids are gunna jock my steeze, everyones gunna start ballin like a bald Richard simmons from 84. just wait.

nah, but for real though, ill probably just wear my DC's or ATC's, thanks for the advice.

i wear track spikes for turf. they work great. They will probally work greak on grass to. But i have no idea how they would work on dirt. I sugested getting the smallest spike possible. it will grip the ground good, and will not arrch ur foot up as much and casue u pain while walking on cement

i use 7mm spikes for everything (long grass type turf, nppl style turf, SCVillage dirt, grass).... except PSPs and NPPLs where you cant use spikes at all then they still work fine without spikes or you can screw golf cleats in which are plastic

Yaimkorean plays in the PSP
Yaimkorean plays in the APPA D1 division
Funny story...first game of world cup playing five man 1 of the refs wouldn't let me play with my track shoes. NOT becuase i had the cleats in there were no spikes in my track shoes whatsoever. BUT because i had metal threadings taht the spikes screwed into and that they could burr and might have a sharp edge.
