I would say its good and bad, in one regard the sport is being promoted and people are seeing more of how the game is played, as opposed to the regular dipiction of a bunch of vietnam vets, playing war out in the woods. But in the other respect it looks kind of ridiculous. I just wish hollywood would do a little more research when it came down to showing paintball in movies. They always have a way of making things really unsafe in movies.

If you ask me it was for the better the way they portrayed paintball in the movie. If they had done it the real way, all 4 would have got lit the **** up and been yelling and whining saying OMG i never want to play this vicious "sport" again!! But the way they did it, it makes speedball look pretty easy which it definitely is not, but for people whove never played it appeals to them

I really do believe that this is the best representation of the sport in any major film to date. My props to the directors for finding some paintballers to do this major scene for them, i think ill go see this movie. But, Mr. Jcultra, what do you think was the best representation of the sport to date?

well, minus a few recballers who don't know, it's not too often you see players moving bunker during a game.

I guess to each his own, but I would have preferred that the sport not be viewed in such comedic light. I feel the sport could mistakenly be portrayed as what we do between D&D and Star Trek conventions. If this sport is to be taken serious it should be viewed in a serious light.

Now I understand that it was meant to be humorus because that's the type of film it is. If it were a football, baseball, or basketball game, it would have been just as light hearted and we wouldn't be having this conversation. But for a sport that you have so many tourny players and promoters pouring their heart and souls into, hoping to further its status, I would have chosen to give them a little more respect.

Now before anyone thinks this is a personal attack, please understand I'm stating MY opinion and while I am open to everyone's ideas, and even can be persuaded if your opinion makes sense to me, I don't think it's appropriate to be disrespectful to anyone. So if anyone is offended by what I said... then your too sensitive , because my post had noone targeted

...so far there has been no good representation of the sport. and as long as we have dumb A$$i$ that drive through peoples lawns and shoot up private property, I don't think we are going to get too far. but i'm hopeful...
