Not sure where to put this but..

OK. I have decided that I want to replace my Shocker eyes and wiring with Timmy eyes and wiring.

I wasn't real sure where to post this first, here or in Bob Long, but if I don't get a response here, I'll gladly move it!

I have already figured out that I will need several things. This is what I have so far:
  • Alias Style Timmy Board
  • Alias Style Power/Solenoid Harness
  • Alias Style Membrane
  • WAS eyes
  • Eye Harness
  • Internal Milling of Body and maybe frame
  • Eye Cover to match the right side

This is about all that I have for now. If you can think of anything else to add, please let me know.

The biggest problem I see as of now is whether or not the Timmy solenoid Connector will fit in a Shocker Solenoid. Does anyone know this?

Thanks a lot,
Craig

You will need to remove the upper board on the shocker noid, and then solder a connector onto the noid. Another problem is that the alias board wont be able to fit in the frame.

you need a 2k2 style board and 2k2 harness so you can just use a switch instead of a 2k5 membrane. Id suggest a WAS board so you can get 2.9 Programing. My friend did this. As of right now he just put the board and all the wiring in there, soldiered the connector onto the solinoid, drilled a hole in the body for the eye and an another hole at the top of the frame for for the eye wire on the non vision side of the body. He just used epoxy on the one side for now. for the switch we drilled and tapped a hole on the bottom of the grip and then cut a small bit off the rubber grip and placed the switch there. But all in all is looks awesome and shoots amazing

Yes, you need 2k2 cus the 04/05 model boards just dont fit. So you will need point 12, point 14, and 2k2 eyes.

OK. But about this soldering the connector onto the Solenoid- Where do I solder it? Right where the old one was? (I knew that the upper board had to be removed)

Also, is there any way to make the switch to be a slide switch? And if I use WAS 2.9, is that LCD, or what?

Thanks a lot so far guys!

doesnt matter what wire gets soldered to wich lead...
Yes you can use the on/off switch, Frame jut needs to be milled for it to fit.

No, WAS 2.9 is LED.

OK. Anyone have ideas where to get all this milled? Or should I try to do it myslef (I have a dremel!)

Also, what's the big deal about WAS 2.9? Is it better than say, Tadao?

Thanks.

WAS 2.9 doesnt have as many modes as tadao, but it can be bought for a better price.

OK. Thanks. Another question about the solenoid connection:

Would I have to take off the connector of my Shocker solenoid and then solder on a new one? If so, where can I find that new one?
