im about to trade for a non vison shocker. do i need a vision kit to install the eyes? in all my other shockers and nerves it had the board on the noid.

not necessary the vision kit, you can get say a Tadao, TAG or other aftermarket board with a vision strip and then it will be vision.

i used to own a virtue board, did those have the vision strips? getting an aftermarket board is alot cheaper than buying the vision kit for shure.

Every shocker, has an upper board where the vision ribbon plugs into. Now you can put a vision ribbon in there with a non-vision board but it's pointless, but when you add the aftermarket board it becomes activated and vision can be used.

You also need the vision eye cover and eye ribbon screw.
