Quick question about Mavericks. Ive seen them around and have thought about getting one just for the hell of it, never tried pump so...

1. Does a Maverick take a CO2 TANK stock or the 12 g. cartridge?

2. On average how many shots can you even get with a 12g cartridge?

3. How exactly does an auto trigger work?
Do you just hold the trigger down and keep pumping and the gun will automatically shoot when cocked?

4. Can the barrel be taken off, and if so are there any A/M barrels for it?

EDIT: I've read a bunch of descriptions but they arent exactly descriptive...at all

Ok, I have some questions about the Azodin KP.

1. Is it accurate while stock?

2. Is it better or as good as a CCI Phantom?

3. Are they durable?

4. What are some good upgrades if it's stock?

5. What does it work best with C02 or HPA?

6. Is it a good starter pump and would it give me any problems?

7. Would a phantom be more accurate or better? If so then, why?

I can answer all of your questions regarding the Azodin Kaos Pump by simply saying this: it is a phenomenal gun for it's pricepoint. You really can't go wrong with that gun unless you have another specific gun in mind instead. A barrel kit isn't an absolute must, but will of course help it shoot better. Otherwise, everything else is personal preference as to how the owner wants to set it up.

For anyone getting into pump play, I recommend that gun first, almost every time.

Ok, thank you! Few more if you don't mind. Is it accurate for back or middle play on a speed ball field and would I need like a 14" or 16" barrel if i'm sniping in woodsball?

As I said, the only thing it really needs (for someone looking for high performance) is a barrel kit. Barrel kits come with several back bore sizes, which you match to your paint size each time you play. This provides both a place for the ball to stop in the barrel and a proper seal around the ball, which will make it shoot much better.

Well, CCM can sell you two backs and a front for something like $65, or Python can sell you their compression kit for around that, though you'll need a cocker threaded barrel (aside from the Azodin stock barrel) to add to it. The Azodin barrel's detent oring will likely cause innaccuacy when using the Python.

The only barrel I use is Deadly Wind. It is a much better value for the money than some barrels but it is still expensive. I totally think it's worth it.

A 12" .685 CP would be ideal, and might cost you less in the end. With single bore barrels, it is wise not to go over that length.

Ok so a 14" or a 16" wouldn't make it more accurate at longer ranges?

Not if you're using a proper bore in the first place.

Which hopper is better the Winchester or the GXG pocket hopper because if you buy the Azodin KP from paintball gateway they'll throw in the GXG for free and the GXG looks as if it could feed faster because of the way it is tilted for the balls to fall to that end.

You're turning this into a "vs. thread", which this isn't really allowed to be. The only thing I'll mention to answer you is that the GXG hopper is ugly, and tends not to feed as well as the Winchester. My winchester hoppers never have jams (that I can remember).

Sorry I just heard the GXG was kinda crappy (breaks easy). As for the 2 guns I don't know what to do..thats why I was asking..which is more user friendly?

Try the Phantom, and get ahold of an Azodin to try as well. Then make an educated decision. Your taste will really make the difference.

As for the GXG hopper, I don't think it breaks as easily as the Brass Eagle hopper that it resembles, but again, it feeds poorly, and the lid is almost as bad as the BE.
