you'll learn that the battery indicator on the LCD is far from accurate. Your best bet would be to charge your battery up overnight just to be safe.

It won't hurt anything.

If you have a 2k1, recharging anytime may be OK, but the 2K's have a NiCad battery, which has a nasty habit of "memory". The bad thing about the battery indicator is that it will stay on 3/4 for a LONG time, while dipping after that very fast. The more you play with it, the more you will know when to charge it, but I wouldn't just charge a 2k whenever you feel like it, unless of course you want to shorten the batteries life.

3-4 hours for a full charge. I usually go for 4-5 hours myself. Good luck.

this my not be right but in the wdp manual for the 2k angle it says that it wont hurt to leave the charger on longer than what you need. authough i have found manuals not to be the most accurate source of info, (shocker) but the angel manual seems to be pretty nice.

It does not hurt to leave the gun charging for a long time. I charge mine overnight all the time. I have a 2k, and I used to always try to drain the battery, and it is a biatch. So...what I do now is charge it up overnight every time before I play, regardless of the battery level. I know it will messs with the memory, but it is minimal. And when I do end up messing it up, I will get a nickel Metal Hydride Battery. I just don't want to end up with a dead battery at a tourney...that is bad. peace

Once I get some more $$ I am getting the 2K1 battery kit. Better to be safe then sorry. (By this I mean the ability to charge when ever you want, like the night before a big game)

Later...
