I have yet to try any of the new Vents, so until then Profiler will be the one to beat for me.

You know what the one TRUE answer is? None of the above! OK, you can have an opinion, but it's all preference. There is no one best mask.

I went for the Axis. Kind of surprised that the Proflex is way on top. The lens system stinks compared to the newer masks.

Is there any difference, besides the reversed colors, between the Profiler and Profiler SE?

This skull paintball mask is known to be one of the most comfortable easy to use, easy to wear masks in the game. The rubber compound that the mask is made out of can actually repel paintballs. They bounce off of the surface material that the mask is made out of. The goggle system is fog resistant and has an incredable amount of ventilation. VERY lightweight and unlike those bulky plastic masks it protects you better with a more custom fit, this mask is so light you will forget its on! The more you wear the mask the more it will conform to your head and face.

Taken from an ebay auction!

well, if JT would comw out with the pro-flex 8, with soft ears, and make the front soft like a proflex, but keep the same profile, it would most definitely be the best ,mask out.

and skuls arent bad masks. infact i like them.

How about a quick lens change? Then I will consider a Proflex.

Oh my God no. In my opinion the Vantage is a horrendously uncomfortable mask in both where the foam lies around your eyes, where the foam stops, and where the bottom of the mask digs into your neck. I don't think they feel similar at all. The profiler is a much more comparable mask to the feel of the Vents.

Prea, I have a one piece foam design that goes all the way around. We are kind of considering selling it as an accessory. No-one who's tried it seems to be bothered though.

I was more referring to the sides being open, not necessarily the material of the foam itself. Considering even the original EVents dont have the " EVents final product" foam, it would be hard to compare the two. I tried on the events at cup, and what really turned me off was the padding that seemed glued to the mouthpiece, felt like a hockey mask. Dont know if this was packaging, or meant to be there, but it rubbed pretty abrasively against my chin.

Does this mean you're going to ban me again?

that foam (padding as u called it) is something to do with preventing ur moist air when u breathe from getting up onto the mask.....im pretty sure its not supposed to be padding at all, although it could help from preventing the rubber from smaking u in the face since its flexible, and will flex into ur face when shot
