I'm sure it could, but why horizontally? What is your application? How do you plan on mounting it?

well i will be mounting it horziontally on my a5 up near the sight rail on the cyclone side. you run a remote. its a custom mod from someone else i am copying. his orgional design involved the female stab but unfortunatly im finding it difficult to sell or trade my stab for a female one. so i have an idea of making due with what i have and obtaining the same end result. my only roadblock would be if the stab was limited to being mounted only vertically.

all credit is due to Telman2 on the ownersgroup forum!

You can mount a male Stab any way you want. It'll function in space (0 gravity).

I'd add a quick disconnect in there somewhere. In case you need to take the stab off...just a thought.
