I like to fix things , but when it comes to things like this it's just a little beyond me. Also, I don't have much experience with electrical triggers.

As it turns out, the little circuit board in the grip is bad. My uneducated testing leads me to think the chip is blown.

Could someone give me some more information or a lead? What does this circuit do? Who makes/programs these chips? If anyone has any idea where I could find another to replace this one or how I could diagnose and fix a problem with it, I'd be really grateful!

maybe posting a pic of frame and board and board in frame might help depending on what the board controls may make the difference in board used

They look identical to a pgi mayhem board. I dont know if the programming is the same.
