couple more e-mag questoins

i might be trading my brand new AKA viking for a relatively new e-mag but i wanted to make sure that i will be happy before i complete the transaction.

How is the gas effeciency of a lvl10 e-mag?

Does it have a lot of kick?

Does it have a lot of blowback if i were to use a v-feed body with an EvoII hopper?

Why do you think e-mags are so rare on the tourney scene? I don't understand, in theory they seem like really amazing guns yet angels and matrixes still dominate

How is it as far as reliability?

Any parts that will need to be replaced when i get it?

How is AGD's customer service?

Will i get shootdown with a bulldog 2 nitro system? (until i get a conquest)

-Average.

-Hardly noticeable.

No blowback. Can use a "no-rise" vert body.

-Sponsorships, lack of AGD bikini models, etc.

-It's made by AGD... that's all ya gotta know. They're 'stoopid fly' in the reliability dept.

-Um, no.

How is AGD's customer service?
-Bwahahaha. Um... it's AGD. Also 'stoopid disco fly' in this dept. Check out AO for help, otherwise call up their tech line.

-It will recharge as fast as the bulldog can. If you have shootdown, it's not the gun's fault... it can do 26+ bps with 0 avg shootdown.

Thank you Miscue for getting back to me so promptly, i really appreciate the posotive reinforcement unlike that which i have recently experienced in other forums lately. I could understand if it was like April or around tax time, but the animosity of some people on these boards really surprises me. Sorry for the rant.

Where can you get these "no rise" bodies? I saw a guy selling a couple of them on AOG but he said that only like 5 bodies were produced and wanted a good deal more than i wanted to spend. How hard would it be to weld an angel or similar feed tube to a powerfeed body with the powerfeed removed and the hole enlarged to the right angle? Or should i just get over it and just the powerfeed?

Well the easiest way to get a no-rise effect is get a vertical feed body and cut it down to to about an 1". You can drop the hopper right over the remaining neck and use a small hose clamp to secure it. It sounds ugly but does'nt look too bad. And it works great. I run it this way on my SFL, because no-rise breeches have'nt been made for them yet, and have no problems at all. Just make sure level 10 is installed in your e-mag before you try it.

The only bad thing I can think of is that you'll have to have your powerfeed mag barrels remilled for centerfeed. There's a guy on AO doing it for around $20 a barrel if I remember correctly.

On a mag barrel, where do you measure the length from?

Is it from tip to end? or is it from tip to where the ball enters barrel?

What length barrel would be good for a mini-mag?
Is 14" to long?

Thanks for any help or insight you can provide!!!!!!
