cam arm problem

i just got my 1.5 cam arms and there getting stuck in after the bolt pushes them it seems like the black piece in there has a lot of friction on it and may b a little two big. think it would be ok if i sand it down just a tad so it doesnt touch at the top and bottom like it is now. mayb something wrong with the spring too
i looked in the manual and it didnt say nething about this so i hope some1 here can help

check the stickies, take the cams apart, and put it back together. sound like the spring, screw, or something else is not right. check the manual too.

post a pic of where its sticking. Be careful not to sand to much off of the arm because you do not want the bigger arm going past the little tab that the smaller arm goes under.

Yeah, sand a VERY tiny amount off of the top part of the black piece.

I'd call evil on monday, see what they say, maybe they'll replace them. Also, you could've bent the spring, or it might be just old, and needs to be replaced. Who knows till you CALL EVIL TECH.

The spring has to go in s certain direction to work right. Also try cycling it with the cams off, just the black piece on. that will narrow it down to the black part or the spring. Also make sure your bolt is right side up. The indent for the cams should be to the right as you put the bolt back in.
