Could the inside of the Quest body be honed to a mirror finish (like a barrel)? If so, wouldn't it reduce friction and o-ring wear? possibly allowing pressures to be lowered a bit? and less time between lubings?

probably but the inside of my quest body is pretty smoothe already but yeah like paintballmonkey said it probably wouldn't do much at all

buy a pack of 100 orings and start playing with them. You will find that some of them will be alittle smaller and will cause less friction.

I don't think that my Quest could really shoot any better, smoother, or more accurately. If it could I would be afraid of it taking over the world.
