umm it depends on what you want but since this is the EVIL forum id say go with the omen...

Light Weight
Lots of Upgrades Available
Everyone Has One
Feel is Kinda Cheap
Shoots Nice For The Price
Not Great Warranty

Nice Feel
Not a lot of Upgrades
Stock Parts Great
Air Hog (Dry Firing)
Lifetime Warranty
More Expensive than Ion When New
Friendly Forum...hehe

Basically: Ion has more upgrades and needs upgrades more out of the box. The Omen comes almost fully up'd out of the box. Omen is a little heavier than the ion. The Omen is more gas effecient. All of the stock parts on the omen are great. Ion stock parts can range from fair to good (just by luck). Evil gives great customer support (free repairs, parts and everything). While smart parts customer service can vary. Lately I have heard great things about it though.

Buy an Omen, so many people own Ions. Plus, the Omen actually has nice body lines, its not COVERED IN PLASTIC.

well, stock the omen is definately the better choice, but if you wanna buy upgrades, then the ion has alot more choices to upgrade. In my opinion,id get the omen.if you wanna upgrade ur omen, get the blade trigger, clamping feedneck, pipe kit, and a new drop. WOOOOT

My omen setup:
omen 2.0 (black)
evil pipe kit (black/blue)
cp flame drop (blue)
hybrid hedlock feedneck (blue)
evil blade trigger (blue)
