nasty typhoon owners come here

couple of questions about the nasty typhoon.

1)How do you clean a chopped ball?
2)Is it closed bolt or blowback or any other type of cocking mechanism?
3)Can it use CO2, or only nitro?
4)Do you think fields would allow them?

Thanks

I don't own one... played with a couple over the years.

1) Remove bolt(s), squeegy
2) Closed-bolt, pnuematic "auto-cocking"
3) Both, CO2 suggested I believe
4) Depends on the field, it does fire two balls for every one trigger pull.

your not going to play any psp or nppl tournament with the nasty but it seems like a cool gun to use for rec or just playing speedball with friends.

You can always pull one of the bolts and bag that barrel if the two shots per pull thing freaks the field out.

I shoot a nasty. It highly depends on the fields if you are allowed to use it however volume is sufficently to extremely less than an electro. I tend to get bursts of six out, which is 3 shots x 2 barrels.

They tend to like co2 better, but some get decent success with HPA also. To squeegie the left barrel, the right barrel bolt still needs pulling or a spin at least. The barrels also can 'cross contaminate' where the paint gets into the other when it breaks through the ball detente holes, sometimes.. So if you break the right barrel, the left might go later.

You can make it single barrel, but you have to adjust like crazy and it's just not the same, might as well use another PPS gun instead.

I dont suggest them as your only PPS gun, mostly do to the fields that disallow them, which highly varies.

What does that thing weigh when you've got both loaders full of paint and a CO2 bottle attached?

My nasty hurc is around 15lbs loaded, or the weight of an m14 rifle.
Yellow#5 O/U hurc with vl3000 loaders is around 18lbs I think.

I recently went to indian springs maxi loaders to ditch batteries, reduce hopper sizes and weight, they feed pretty well!
