Halo, VLocity or Eggy. (whichever feels best for you)
High quality (WPN anything)
compressed air and nitrogen are the same like hunter said.

Don't even try CO2.

the 05's arent quite as good with low grade paint, so get mid to high grade.

they dont even fill tanks with nitrogen anymore, and spend the few extra bucks for better paint then white box, crapy paint will make you think your gun sucks

Vlocity - My Halos have had more broken parts than I care to remember (drive cones, rip drive wheels, lids, shells, battery packs, etc).

- As said above, pretty much anything but white box. If you get the opertunity, stick with Blaze, F13, Fuel. PMI (+ Evil) is usually pretty brittle, so if it doesn't break in your gun it'll break in your hopper when you hit the dirt hard.

hoppers don't matter, aliens have eyes but if you wanna shoot faster then 12 BPS get a HALO or something in that area

Paint isn't a priority, just make sure you dont mix summer paint with 30 degree weather

Samething

Btw, does anyone have any tips for re-assembly (mainly dealing with the damn trigger stop plate ) that took me way to long to do - screws are sooooo small, and just a small area to work with in general... Oh, one other thing --- dumb question, but which way do you turn the reg to lower velocity? I would guess counter, but...

lower veocity as i recall is IN so clockwise...

for hopper... i like my Zboarded egg on my 05... good balance and weight feel w/ the weight being towards the back of the gun... can't say the same thing for my cockers though :-/

for paint... haven't had any issues even w/ the practice paint beyond to small of a barrel making for barrel brakes

HPA doesn't matter... last tourny i went to acculy used nitrogen cause their compressor died and they needed a good way to still get 4000+psi fills... didn't notice any difference honestly

For a CP reg, turning in (clockwise, right) Lowers velocity, turning out (counterclockwise, left) Raises velocity.
The 06 reg may be different. It should work however a Palmer's or Torpedo works.

That is indeed a monumental task. Fortunately, you rarely if ever have to do it. Here's my method:

Disconnect the LP hose from the ram barb.
Move the ram/noid somewhere out of the way.
Put in the trigger spring.
Put one stop-plate screw through the plate, and move both pieces into position and start screwing in the screw, making sure that the eye wires are in their appropriate trough. Yes, this takes madd skills, however it is much easier than placing the plate into position and trying to keep it there while you find the screw and try to thread it in.
Tighten both screws.
Return the ram/noid to position (don't pinch any wires!)
Push the end of the LP hose over the trigger pin and under the stop plate towards the noid and attach it to the barb. Pliers help here.
Bingo.

It may be necessary to tape each side of the gun where the trigger pin comes out to prevent it from sliding out from under the wires/hose.

actually compressed air and nitro are not the same

comressed air is 30% nitrogen
nitrogen is 100% nitrogen

i use nitro and its way cheaper if you have a scuba tank
and is cleaner for my gun

... air is made of of almost 80% nitrogen... not %30... it's 78.08% nitrogen to be exact

air is made up of 20.95% oxygen... then a bit of random other stuff...

nitrogen is a bit cleaner (no O2 in it and such) but not worth it realy...

It is if your field uses a dirty air supply. I've heard horror stories about a certain field's air and its effects on markers.

and is cleaner for my gun It's cheaper to fill scuba tanks with nitrogen, but it is no way "cleaner" than compressed air.
