Alamo City Paintball Delrin Ram

hey,

At Alamo city paintball, they are selling wrath RAMs that is either lightweight (16 grams) or midweight (26 grams). Both are the same price, so I was wondering which I should buy?

The mid-weight ram requires less aggressive tuning while still greatly reducing recoil.

Go with the Mid-weight. I have the light weight and had to cut 3 coils off of the spring and stretch it to work right. I also had to go up on the pressure to above 400psi. I didn't like the fact that I had to go up so high so I put the stock ram back in.

i'm guessing lighter weight of the gun overall, AND less kick because it's a lighter part moving back and forth on the gun... i don't evne know if it moves back and forth to be honest.

haha maybe it was a good guess, i don't konw. Im just gonna stick to my stock ram unless it's really really worth it for a new delrin RAM.

by the way, i've decided to keep this NIB silver wrath that i got for only 125 shipped! my mongoose 2 lcd is sold. i'm a proud new wrath owner now.

shocktroop plays in the PSP
It mainly lowers the kick and kicks up the cycle rate some. That's it....
The cup seal is just more high flow b/c it's in a cone shape, more arrow dynamic. Ups your fps some and efficiency. Only like 5 or so

the cup seals are worth it. if you take the lpr off (undo the screw in the front). there is a spring and the cup seal and the metal armature are in there. when the ram goes forward it pushs the armature. which moves the cup seal and allows the air to pass through the vavle.

hey guys do you think that a spyder rocket vavle would work in a wrath. since the wrath and the spyder are so similar.

Uhm... the valve happens to be the only similarity between the Spyder and the Wrath... yes I think it will work, somebody said that those type valves will fit with little modding.

Does getting a new ram sleeve inprove the cycling witch improves the PBS? I'm also guessing since its lightweight that it reduces the weight of the gun.

The spyder has blowback holes in the valve and the wrath valve doesn't have those holes. These are the holes that allow air to travel back and push on the hammer, recocking the gun.

Way to up an old thread, and no you can't tell the difference by looking at the outside of the gun.
