My quest review/question on efficiency
Alright today i brought out my quest for practice. Its was around 35 degrees and SNOWING HARD. So heres my review lol
Alright before i mentioned that i had major drop off and all that. Well today i wiped off my hater sauce and applied some Dow 33 + Gold Cup. The gun shot GREAT all day. This is also because i switched the batteries. Another thing, before i use to have MAJOR bounce. However now after i switched the batteries i was able to turn my debounce down to 10 and AMB at 2. My trigger is pretty long with almost no magnetic strength. The gun shot like a beast today. Only had a few barrel chops, no chops in the breech. The gun is a bit loud but thats fine it still shot great.
Oh and this is my Third time using this gun.
However here comes the bad news. My efficiency SUCKED! I used both a 45/45 and 92/45 both filled to a little over 3000 and i only could barely get a case. I was wondering if maybe my pressure is to low and that cause the gun to suck up all the air????
My settings are
Dwell- 8
LPR- Almost at 75
Debounce-10
AMB-2
Rest is stock.
With these settings i have no drop off. So i was wondering maybe if i turn my lpr to 90 it would be better?
Someone help!
Thanks!
Also i dont have a vid of the gun shooting but i do have a few shots of me playing. And if i get enough people who want to see it ill try to upload it up.

yup. I prefer it over hatersauce during the winter times. Like i had my Dm6 lubed with hatersauce and had MAJOR drop off to the point where i gave up on it and just used my quest. Like before i played a tourny where there was snow on the ground and it was even colder. had the Dow33+Gold Cup and it was Da BOMB!
Anyways yea.. thats my review for the lube lol

I have the oppisite weather conditions of u...
Weather Mid 80's
Sunny and Hot..
Rainy.. off and on..
and... a Case is good... off of a 45/45..
45/45 -1200
68/45 - 1500
92/45 - 1800
if u got almost a case with a 3000 fill thats pretty good..
The Gun IS Loud without Paint, and Sucks air when dryfire..

no you misinterpreted me. I meant that i used BOTH a 92/45 AND a 45/45 just to get close to a case.
What are you guys running your lprs and dwells at? You know we need a settings page lol.
Thanks

Filled at 3000 psi, a 45/45 and a 92/45 should give you about 2000 rounds, which is what you are claiming (i only could barely get a case). If you filled them to capacity, you would get another half a case (3000 shots total).
Myth is busted!

If your gun is loud you need to set your LPR correctly. Also if it is having bad efficiency you need to set your LPR. I don't have a LPR guage so I can't tell you what my LPR is at but all you have to do is mess around with it.

If you want your LPR to run low........raise your dwell. I'm not a quest expert but I'm assuming the bolt works like a dm/shocker? In which case raising yoru dwell won't really kill your efficiency that much but WILL give you a much nicer shooting gun. Give it a shot.

If your LPR is too high it will make the Quest preform not how it was intended to.
