Oring in the breech?

Hey all
I noticed that there seems to be a slot in the breech after the detents for an oring. Kinda like shockers. So i was wondering if mine is missing an oring there lol. Also what are the benefits of having the orings, because it seems like it would just cause drag on the bolt.

Also what size and what type of oring is surpose to be there?

Thanks!

Yes there is a breach O-ring. Check out the stickied tech thread. He has pictures of all the parts, where they go, and what they are.

But to answer your quetion, it's a Urathane size 017 O-ring.
