Bounce Issue?
I've read on these forums there have been some markers released that have bounce issues. Can anyone with a bounce issue chime in? I want to know if the bounce can be eliminated by adjusting the trigger and/or adjusting the debounce higher than the stock setting of 5.

The stock Quest programming has debounce allowable from 1 to 50. Does th Nox chip go to 100 or some number greater than 50? The stock setting of 5 seems to be ok with some slight bounce, but anything after 8 or 10 I get 0 bounce. Did you have to adjust the AMB as well? Are we talking slow pull bounce issues or fast pull issues?

well there are other variables that can be changed when setting up a gun other than debounce, my quest when i first got it back at cup had mad slow pull bounce and so of course even more at fast pull, it was all electronic though, but its a magnetic trigger and all magnetic triggers can bounce but ive NEVER adjusted my quests trigger (its amazing as is) and it doesnt bounce, played at Delmarva and a ref at the chrono checks your gun for slow pull bounce before every single game, never got a single bounce and it doesnt bounce at high rofs, but my debounce is at 48 lol

Wow that is pretty high! I have my trigger set to middle activation about 2-3mm with the magnet screwed as far out as possible to give as light a feel as possible. My settings are AMB 2 and debounce 7 with 0 bounce, but then again I might not be gifted at the slow bounce thing. Plus, my Quest was one of the original builds as it still has the Angel grips. Maybe they changed the mechanics slightly?

not to hijack a thread but does anyone have a link to where someone would buy a nox chip? also i heard bounce is very removable if you fiddle with your board or trigger adjustment or both

J Yim,
Switching batteries should not have any affect on bounce. Have you since tried these settings with your old battery?
To all,
Is this bounce associated with fast trigger pulls or slow trigger pulls?

nope did not try it yet with my old battery. My trigger set up is very light. The trigger magnet is flush with the trigger. Before i had my debounce at 48 and AMB at 4 and it still bounced -_-
