New Full Boar (pics included)

Full Boar is working on a new rear cocking/RVA kit. This one doesn't require a beavertail because the back doesn't fly in and out. You cock it once, push the knob back in and it stays there during operation. They sent me one to try out. No info on availability or pricing yet. Here are some pics.

What do you think of it?

I installed one today and shot it. Worked great.

Mike

Sorry Chris, but it won't. The rear bolt on the LP kit has a rear cocking kit built into it, while the Full Boar requires the cocking hole block... thing that's inside the bolt. I can't remember what it's called, that little bullet-looking thing inside the rear bolt.

Any ways, the FB won't be able to work.

And Mike, I think it looks awesome... except that they should've made a better side cover. I have had problems w/ that style myself before, and I know others have also. Not installation, but with it causing friction and scratches with the rear bolt.

Should just make something that is like the Rocket-cock, but only a lot lower/closer to the M98 body.

Way cool...I WILL get one for mine that is of course if I am able to sell the old one and I don't get the electro Kit.

And Meph- I never had a problem with the cover...it doesnt scratch or anything (it was a little hard installing it). Did you use it on a M98 or an M98 Custom?

I didn't have many, they were very faint scratches. However, it hurt my ROF by 1bps. Nothing drastical, but still noticable.

I heard from Full Boar this morning. Looks like I'll be able to sell it for $50. I don't know when it will be available for sale yet. Once I get an estimated time of delivery, I'll put it on my website for pre-orders.

I like it a lot. I'm keeping it on my M98. I'm also playing a 24 hour game this weekend in Clymer, NY. I'll get to really test it out in full, long game situations.

NO, c'mon Mike, why you going to that? Go to Survival Island!

I'll be writing the article for APG, and I could make a plug in there for ya!

Nah, just kidding. They won't let me.

Hey I was just wondering how you would rate this against the 32* Rear cocking kit...

Aslo... I would just wondering.. It doesnt look like you have an electro type system on your gun county, what are your feelings about going standard Semi in the tourney's ? How have you done with your M98? Thanks Much!

True, I don't have an electro system on my M98. In Novice tourneys, it's never been a problem. However, at Amateur level I use an Intimidator.

The 32 Degree rear cocking system sucks. It's been known to crack the receiver halves because it has no cushion as it slams back and forth. I stopped selling it pretty fast when I found out about that. It also had design flaws right from the start - like no cocking slot cover. What's the point of rear cocking if you don't cover the slot?

Meph: Where's Survival Island? If you can sneek a plug into APG for me, I'll send you one of these new Full Boars for free.

InTrauma: If "flush cocking" means that nothing on the outside of the gun moves, then yes. It's flush cocking.

Thanks.
Mike

Here's some info... http://users.bestweb.net/~makoto/

It's August 11th and 12th, same as the war that never was. Only it's on the opposite end of New York. It's in platekill, near Newburgh. Somewhat in between Albany and NYC.

And I wish I could put in a plug, but I'm writing the story line, battles, and results of this for the article. I wouldn't really know how to plug in county paintball.

Hmmm, how does this sound...

"Then in the final battle, the wrath of the tribes collided at the Renagadez Tribal Todem. A fierce battle developed, including Tribal Leaders, one of which using nice equpiment which can be found at such places like www.countypaintball.com. And with the constant paint flying, dare-devil attempts to take over the tribes, espionage, and a wet t-shirt contest..."

I don't know, I'll work on it. And besides, I don't really need a full boar, I already bought the Psycho Ballistics e-kit from ya pre-buyout and pre-sale price, too!

Just call tippmann and tell them that the powertube broke...theyll most likely send you a new one.

By valve body you mean the big plastic tube that houses the valve internals? That would be the powertube.

Trauma, I still have that new stock valve/powertube if you're still interested. LMK, because Tippmann is getting real stingy about giving stuff away these days.
