first off great job.

ok it may be trivial, but has anyone noticed a sound difference say between the dmc and the proto???

One thing you could possibly change is the feedneck section. A gun can only come with one feedneck. As far as I know only the DM4 and PM5 have low-rises, and the rest have no-rises. Not really an error but could be edited to clear some confusion.

All dependent on how the LPR is set up, what the dwell is and a myriad of other things.

If you screw it together its one piece. On the original TMC guide it said it was a one piece fuse.

added the following:

PM6 shaved off .5 inches off the height and 4 ounces off the weight of its predecessor (PM5).

i thought pm5's came stock with a no-rise feed, but i could be wrong.
also, pm5's were the only ones without clamping feednecks

I printed the old comparison chart that was in the stickies, and it has only the DM5 checked for No Rise feed. The DM4 and Proto(5) had X's. The current chart I created has the PM5 as the only one X'd for Clamping Feedneck. Not sure what you mean... could you clarify so can change if needed?

Again... The current chart I created has the PM5 as the only one X'd for Clamping Feedneck. Meaning that it does not have a clamping feedneck. As for the no-rise, the old chart in stickies is gone... so I scanned what I had printed when I was creating the updated chart.

I can't believe the old chart could have been wrong for more than a year. I was also told by others that the PM5 is a low-rise:

PM5 has a Norise. There is no obstructions in the way from putting a CCM no pro like there is on the DM4.

DMC = 2.05lbs or 2lbs 01oz; 9.0"L x 8.0"H; 175psi OP, 1200 shots
DM5 = 2.15lbs or 2lbs 02oz; 9.0"L x 8.0"H; 175psi OP, 1200 shots
DM4 = 2.30lbs or 2lbs 05oz; 9.5"L x 8.5"H; 175psi OP, 1100 shots

PM = Proto Matrix
PM6 = 1.75lbs or 1lbs 12oz; 9.0"L x 8.0"H; 185psi OP, 1300 shots
PM5 = 2.00lbs or 2lbs 00oz; 9.0"L x 8.5"H; 225psi OP, 1300 shots

SM = Shocktech Matrix
SM5 = 1.88lbs or 1lbs 14oz; 9.0"L x 7.5"H; 175psi OP, 1200 shots

Compressed Air info anyone?

Air has an average molecular weight of 29 (28 for N2*.8 + 32 for O2 * .2)
1 mole of gas at STP occupies a volume of 22.4 L, therefore, 29g {~1 oz)of air at STP occupies 22.4 L

Take you tank volume in Liters (ft3X28.3 or cu in X .0164) and correct to STP (forget the temperature, just multiply the volume by 204 or 306{3000psi/14.7psi; 4500/14.7psi}. This gives you the gas volume at STP.

Divide this volume by 22.4 and you get the weight of air in oz.

Using that, you get the following information:

3000 PSI = 204 atm
4500 PSI = 306 atm

47ci = 0.77 L
68ci = 1.11 L
88ci = 1.44 L
114ci = 1.87 L

So now, just plug it into what I said above, and you get these weights:

47ci 3000PSI tank: 7.0 ounces of air
68ci 3000PSI tank: 10.1 ounces of air
88ci 3000PSI tank: 13.1 ounces of air
114ci 3000PSI tank: 17.0 ounces of air

47ci 4500PSI tank: 10.5 ounces of air
68ci 4500PSI tank: 15.1 ounces of air
88ci 4500PSI tank: 19.7 ounces of air
114ci 4500PSI tank: 25.5 ounces of air

I think it would be... at least that what everyone says. dueydog did not have specs on how much the PM6 Stock and UL frame weigh. It should be lighter... but not by much. If we get the info... I will update the chart.

I would add the Hyper 2 and UL barrel info the the chart under the guns as they are technically part of them, needed to operate and come stock.

For the CP 2k5 asa users, it weighs 4.2 ounces with elbow.

Care to weigh the stock pm6/dm6 asa w/ elbow? And add it to the chart, thanks.
