What do you guys think of the extreme milling on this sto body? Will it affect performance?

I don't know but have you seen the Spanky bodies (look below) Those have even bigger of a gap. Someone answer, I'm curious.
The only thing I could think of is a dirt issue, but hell, what do I know!

Both wont have problems with performance, however the first one is open to dirt and paint. The bottom spanky body has tubes that close off the bolt and hammer to the outside, so nothing can get into it.

They look a little too bare bones for me. im still hooked on the Free Flow milling.

that was my STO.. the milling didnt affect the preformance at all.. in fact i was able to lower the pneumatics pressure a bit due to the reduced drag on the bolt. the only thing with extreem milling is upkeep.. with the exposed bolt and hammer you need to keep up the maintanace and cleaning religiously.

i don't think i will touch my cocker. it looks to good as is, and if i did that, i think i would void the lifetime warrenty.

Also, it looks to open in the back.

The Cobra body (that UrbanTerror showed) is not more open. The silver you see in the cut out areas are insert tubes that keep everything enclosed... so you're not actually exposing anything. Just an FYI.
