Sponsor jersey logos

I was looking at jerseys like dynasty, and it seems like they have heat pressed sponsor logos on the jersey itself. I was wondering if they did it themselves? Or did their sponsors give them the logo and they heatpressed it onto the jersey?

I am looking to put my logo on a team jersey, except they already have them printed. Any tips?

the heat transfer stickers have a tendency to peel off at times....silk screen/sublimation gets rid of that prob.

hmm, jsut rmeembered that if you want them on an area that isnt white on the NYC rev. jerseys, your gonna have to get them screenprinted or get really high quality transfers.

the problem with transfers is that the text/image fades and scratches.
even with the good quality ones.

Animal Paintball will do custom high heat transfers on jerseys bought from someone else. I think its like $17 for a name... $5 per 4" x 4" sponsor logo, and $2 per number if you have jersey numbers.

You can submit your sponsor artwork via email or ftp, it explains it all on their site.

The top companies do heat transfer, i.e. AnimalPB, SmartParts and Empire. With the proper transfer material. these logos and lettering will last every bit as long as the jersey. Ive done some of both in the past and I have to say the heat transfer is the way to go. Infact its what my little sign business is moving to next. The real problem is working with 100% cotton. To do these right though, you cant just plug in an iron do the old inon-on bit. A press runs about $250 on the bottom end new and up to $1200 and $1400 on the top side.

its not screen printing, cause im in the line of work, its dye sublimation, the jerseys start off as white material then the run it through a printer and the printer prints whatever you want onthe jersey then they cut it up and sew it together....i was at a screen print convention and the people the supply smart parts with ether equipment showed me how it was done, its really interesting....
