AGD made only about 450 of the Z-grips, and it took nearly 4 years to sell them all. That doesn't make for good business.

Curiously, they are more popular and sought after now, then when they were in production!

BTW; John Rice, President of WPD, concedes that the IR3 frame has the same worthy attributes of the Z-grip....go figure.

the idea of Zgrip is good, however it just goes forward too far. John Rice corrected this and its much more comfortable on the iR3 Angel.

Apparently, AGD will be making Z grip's again, they will be based off the current Inteliframe, can be intellifed, and have less of an angle. I have heard some talk about getting an emag board inside one, but I can't confirm that. They will be put into production as soon as the XMAG gets rolling. I guess you could say that the z grip concept was too much too soon.

They are working on the Y grip which will have same angle as a reversed Intelliframe.

ONLY if you have a drop making your tank under your gun . I hate my Zgrip, it acutally puts more strain on my wrist than a traditional .45 frame.

Zenitram, the people that actually made the automag zgrip has a bushmaster zgrip frame out. The bushmaster one has less of an angle and looks really nice. Ask Overbear about it.

or possibly because they were ahead of their time. All great things are. These things are damn purdy, are great head turners, save the strain on your wrist, and are somehow capable of higher ROf (dont ask me how, they just do)
