they are detents. you get different eye covers. inside the eye cover is a magnet. then there is another magnet in the plastic detent. when you put everything on, the magnet inside the cover and the magnet in the detent repel each other. so you can see the detent in the breach. but when a ball is fired, it pushes the detent back, then the force of the other magent pushes it back to its original position after the ball has left. so now it is back in position, holding another ball into the breach.

that may be confusing, but its a simple design

Spaceman you have kila detents do they work well? Do you have any problems?

they have worked fine so far. but i havent got the chance to use them actual paintballs too often. i think the first time i used them, the halo was pushing balls passed the detents still, or i had my bip messed up cuz i was chopping. but i added magnets to the outside of it, like it says and it shot fine. but i did loose a magnet. then after that night i decided to see if some would fit inside, and they did. but i havent shot paintballs since then. i used reballs last week, and they were fine. so i dont know if it is too much pressure for paintballs. but they worked great with reballs. we are using reballs again tomorrow. so i wont really be able to tell you how well they work with paintballs.
