Answer to your questions:

1. The rosters will be set for the 7-man. Rosters must be submitted with photo ID prior to the event starting. Teams are not permitted to change the roster for the finals.

2. Last year 7-Man was field paint only which made the event too expensive to play. Althougth Bucktown Bandits did a great job winning 2 events and making more money than they spent.

This year the 7-Man is Bring Your Own Paint or we will have tournament grade paintballs available for $35-$40/case.

We has also scheduled all our 7-Man events 1-2 weeks prior to all NPPL events which will make the GPL a great practice for the NPPL.

THink about it like this, with the rules changes that NPPL will sonn be implementing, it'll just be a matter of time before you'll have to play a regional tourney (GPL & XPSL for example) before you can qualify to play @ a NPPL tourney. This is something that has been in the works for some time now from I understood about the changes being made to the league.

Arrow Prizes

once you get to the 7 man level prizes play a big part in what tourneys teams look into playing...if you go to a tourney and the prizes are horrible then all you do is spend your hard earned money (or your parents hard earned money) then it is not worth it. But if you go to an event where the prizes are great then you have a good chance to make your money back if you place.

teams look for tourneys that pay out well....not tourneys that it is obvious the promoter is just out to make money and F the players.

so before you all jump up and down on BYOP you better look into the entry fee...because the promoters need to make money and still give out prizes...without the paint income they have to make it on the entry...

but if the promoters are going to raise prices for entry to cover the cost of losing paint sales then people will be paying the same amount of money to play it, but are able to shoot paint of their liking. so either way its still a good thing.

well if a team has a nice sponsorship and gets paint free or really cheap for 7 man then they are really paying only entrance.. but not many teams at this level have that but its possible for some 7 man teams coming in

wasent there but I have read many bad things about that tourney just glancing around the Northeast fourms.

But back to this Atlas would be cool to have it not far from most teams, but i wouldn't doubt they do it at dels again.
