so i got a new camera

in photography class today, the teacher walks in with a huge box and says, have fun guys, its all free. so i was a little late getting to the box so i got this camera (not exact same one, mine doesnt say se on it and i have a ****tier lens)

i opened the back up and it still had like 15 year old film in it. my teacher gave out like 15 old cameras, a humongous old flash, one of those really old video cameras that you hold on like a stick on the bottom, and a super heavy canon slr of some sort.

im going to run some film through it and see if actually works also got 5 nib metal lens caps from 1986 or somthing. and a cable release

I've got an old 1940's Kodak Rangefinder camera that works, but I haven't gotten around to getting the film developed that I took with it. Maybe I should do that soon and post up the pictures

i dont think much if any would turn out. i opened the back assuming no film would be in there, it was about halfway through the roll still wound up. i may still try and develop it if i have some extra time

I have 3 cameras now. I have a JVC camcorder, an HP315 (****ty digital one), and a pentax A3000. The funny thing though is that I don't ever use them because I never have anything cool to chronical or take a picture of.

15 year old film is gonna look really crappy obviously. However when shopping for film, go to the expired bin. The reason why is that even though the picture may be grainy, the color saturation is CRAZY.

Also if you wanna be cheap and get into kind of a cult movement, try buying a Holga toy camera.
