Hey guys. Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately, it's because of..... well, not liking photography as much but I got my new comp, and I covered some basketball and wrestling, and figured I'd share. Wrestling sucks so damn much

OK, basketball. freshman, then JV, then varsity. All shot with 50mm f1.8. I thikn they might have all been Jpeg

what body were these on? The iso1600 looks really noisy and grainy. I think if the colors were corrected and the gym had some decent lighting youd have alot of nice shots.

He is using a D70.

With the basketball ones you should sit on the floor instead of standing. And with wrestling you should shoot really tight.

You make it sound as if the noise is really bad. Its better than most of the stuff people put on here. The noise doesn't stick out that much

The noise is not that recongnizible. It is far better to capture action with noise then a crappy picture with less noise.

2,3,6 need tighter crop.

i've never seen so many white kids on a basketball team..no offense, my school has one white kid on the team and the rest..well you know.

You do realize some areas dont have many african american kids in the schools. Its a region thing, our High School has maybe one or 2, both girls.

definatly nice pics, only 2 or 3 pics have the noise that is noticable the recent are not as noticable. also in number 4 i know itsnothing to do with the camera and its all coincidence but the guys basketball jesey is lined up PERFECTLY with the girls pants in the background and it almost looks like the image is stitched.

nice shots and its with a D70 hopefully ill have one soon

ive noticed with wrestling shots the only good ones that turn out are close up ones, i wrestled and i also noticed when pictures were taken of me i like them more
