Wow about YOU quit that team and go find a REAL team that's more serious. If they don't have the desire to play, then don't force it on them, let them have fun while you look around for another team to join.
Well i've gotten a couple of them motivated and just need reasons to motivate a few more... we have a 5 man tourney comming up and well I would like to do well so we can get sponsorship stuff from our sponsors and whatnot... I'm using this as a good motivation... Also the guys that really are into it have begun like me practicing in their yards... grages.. etc snapshooting and whatnot.. (no paint or air obviously)...
I'm hopin this will cut down on the amount of that kind of stuff we will have to do at practice and we can get down to communication and team drills...
Tell them if they don't do good, thery're not getting dairy queen after the game.
If I spin an oriental man, does he become disoriented?
If ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy?
Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday.
Have you ever noticed anyone going slower than you is an idiot and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
You don't have to be faster than the bear, you just have to be faster than the slowest guy running from the bear.
Set an example for your mates. If you can make a big play (i.e. bunker/flag pull) the others will then respect that and bring your hype to their game. If you need inspiration take the team on your shoulders. But dont become some crazy stallin dictator, let them have fun. If you can have fun and still win it will create a great chemistry between players. Play loud, fsat music and be silly between games, anything to get them pumped. Dont let your team sit around and drink soda.
