2002 Extremes sold out.

Loyal customers,

We are both happy and sad to report that all of our scheduled production for Emag Xtremes in 2002 has been sold out. If you had one on preorder from a dealer as of last weeek you are likely to be in the first batch. If you order one toady you are looking at Jan 1st.

Due to the complicated nature of the internal parts and the extensive external cosmetics, production will be limited for some time to come. Airgun Designs will be doing our best to bring you the quality products you expect in a more timely manner once the initial production headaches get straightened out.

Thanks for your support and your patience.

AGD

Does that mean all the xtreme aluminum bodies are sold out too?

There will be no sale of seperate bodies until production for complete markers is somewhat satisfied. I would think perhaps in the spring.

There are a few dealers that have preorders that are not spoken for. But those are filling fast. All the sales are preorder to dealers so that does not mean you may not be able to contact a dealer and still get in on one of these first batches. But due to this announcement you may want to move fast and see if anyone has an uncommited preorder left or go ahead and have a preorder placed now for delivery after the first of the year.

Prices on these are slowly starting to surface and they are a bit better than you would have thought. Very competitive. Story is as of now MSRP of $1050 regular and $1250 C&C in solid colors only and $200 more for special fades. Only solids being done now. Those are pretty much the correct MSRP's I am told.

Right, that makes complete sense..."Hey guys lets limit the production of a highly anticipated marker so that we can less money!"
No, they just have many orders and a low manufacturing capacity right now. It makes sense.

Just ignore him, hes just a little upset that he can't find any real evidence to support his views so he resorts to childish flaming.

Let him speak, its quite entertaining.

These things are being made in the UK... by AGD UK. It takes a couple hours approximately for the milling machine to spit out a single body. Then they have to send it off for anodization. Stuff has to be shipped overseas. UK is selling them too. Everybody wants one. Basically, not a lot of them are going to be floating around for a little while.

Eventually stuff will be sped up... but ya got to understand that Extreme bodies are too new of a thing for AGD to be pumping out like mad while meeting up to AGD's high standards... and keeping the price of the gun down. The mainbody is the most expensive and hardest to make part of the entire gun.

Quality takes time.

I'm kinda glad they're sold out, that way I can still be one of the first to have one by the time I get the money together. Does anyone know if there will be a new body for the classic RTs by any chance?

$cYnTiFiK,
please refer to my sig.
