You can get a good 2gb card for like $160.

Might wanna compare the failure rates of whatever image bank you are looking into compared to the failure rate of a CF card(rare).

Yeah you should of got a 1gb card , especially if you are gonna shoot RAW . I got my 1gb Kodak card for $80 at Walmart and i love it.

fyi - the 28-105 is nothing great. Look at the sigma 24-70 2.8 it retails at 400 and is alot nicer.

Even better than the sigma 24-70 2.8 is the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8.

Sac , I dont see any problems with it so far.... So its not ****ty IMO. And the 28-105 is great for the price.

No , its around $170. And Sac , Its 16.6mb a second , I dont shoot sports that often so i dont really need the fastest card out there.

I meant the lens. Why on earth did you spend 170 on a 1gb card. I have a 80x lexar which was like 90 and its plenty fast for what the xt can buffer.
