Pictures of Bob's new Delrin Bolt - HERE

Greetings,
Here is a link to some pictures of Bob's new Delrin Bolt.
I had to put them together first, so that's what took SOO LONG to get the pics up!
Yes, they are a work of art!
Didn't get to try them out tonight as I have to wait for the Locktite to dry!
Anyway, here is the link:

Greetings Chris,
Yes we are BYOP.
I will tell Morphious, but he has probably already read this thread.

Okay, time for me to sound stupid. But what are the real advantages to this bolt over the stock? Whats the point of getting a new bolt? And of course how $$?

Greetings,
I hope to gain some performance, but can't knock the performance of the stock one so far as we are still using them.
With some tank o-rings and a good lube job with DOW 55, the stock one just works well!
What I am really hoping for is smoother action, slightly less recoil as it just a little lighter than stock, (stock 2.5 oz., new 2.1 oz), but mainly less wear on body due to slick delrin rubbin on Timi.
Since I am shooting close to the same LP/high flow stuff Bob is using, I am hoping this bolt is more optimized in that direction.

As far as price, I heard 45.00 once upon a time, but can't say for sure, but there is a lot of pretty tight tolerance machining on the parts, so they might be higher.

The finish and consistent dimensions across both bolt sets were
on par with the DOD grade aerospace parts I see and just feel "right" in your hands.

OK, I'm in mechanical lust with the bolt so far.

It should shoot well, but I will reserve opinions until I do get to use it target shooting, then playing a few practice games under full water hose back playing paint spraying conditions and get 6 or so other folks with Timis that play here to check them out.

Gotta love that pin on the bolt - pop it out and stick it in this marker, or that marker and make a quick trip to the Chrono, then off to the field.

Vern1,

How are the new bolts working out? Better, worse, the same? Less or more kick? Louder or quieter?

I MUST know!!!! Thanks!
