Hi Tom. As far as paintball stores go, the only one is the Splash or Kuwana Paintball field store/speedball field in Mie-ken; about two hours by bullet train from Tokyo. It`s run by Ryosuke Banno. For fields, there is Tama, Ikego and possibly the new Camp Zama that is opening soon. They all have field shops, I guess that is what you could call them but not really stores selling gear. There is a field in okinawa and I can`t comment on it`s shop since I`ve never seen it but that is a long way from Tokyo. There are lots of ballers up around Tokyo, maybe someone will give you a tour. If you come down this way to Mie-ken, drop me a line and I`ll show you around. If you can`t contact me here, try khainesmith@hotmail.com

This field is not TOO far from Tokyo, and is pretty close to where the 1998 Winter Olympics were held.

As for adventures in Japan, I recommend getting up to the top of Mt. Fuji to see the sun rise.

hey roberto, this is joe, i run the paintball field in ikego, which is where most of the players from yokosuka go to play ball. we have 4500 fills, and a pretty good mix of players, from walk-on noobs, to experienced players, to experienced players that are still noobs, hehe. field fees are $10.00, which includes air if you bring your own gear ($20.00 if you need to rent) and a case of mid-grade paint is $65.00
shoot me a message and we'll talk about your gear.

When I got to Japan last year in may I talked with with MWR about paintball for zama they told me "we will be putting a field up at depot and should be ready by Aug". This was last year I was just out at depot yesterday and I think they might have just started to put the polls in the ground for the netting. They will not have woods ball tho its going to be PSP style it looks like. I have to get in contact with MWR again and see if they have a set time on if or when the field will be done. I am stationed here on Zama. When I get updates I will post here!!! =)

Paint Ball Advertising Shoot In Japan
Hi, we are looking to shoot a ad with paintballers and models in Japan and are looking for local teams to be in the shoot / also to learn where to get paintball equipment in Japan and other supplies.
Please contact me if you have any information about paint ball in japan or know of a team that would be interested in the shoot for a global athletic brand.

Hi all,
I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to add that there is an other option for thoes people whom don't have any one to sponsor them on a Military area.
Near Narita, you can play here at War-zone Paintball field. www.war-zone.jp
It's off base and you can even buy paintbal gear and markers there!
Just wanted to mention since many non-military personel also play and dont have this luxury to know someone on base.
