I used to surf every day for several years. I also used to be in shape. I wonder if these things are related?... LOL
I surf(not often any more) the Gulf of Mexico, Gulf Shores, AL and Pensacola, FL. Believe it or not, we actually get surf. Its a hard fact for most people to grasp. Water is 60F right now, might cool another 5F before it starts working its way back up to 90F.

Haha yeah, I know the Gulf gets surf, but it sucks that half the time you have to pay from having your house destoryed to get decent waves. And man, 60F sounds like heaven. Its about 42 here, gets down to 38F in a few weeks, and in summer its about 70-73F

I'm not complaining, believe me
Its all relative, I'm glad I get to consider 60F cold.

very nice, try getting closer to the surfers. i think if you can get their facial expressions, that would make for a much better shot.
overall i liked them, but your watermark could use some work

i took these a few days ago. i could see spray from my house, so i figured the waves must be big. by the time i got there, they had died down some. there is a dangerous surf warning right now, and a big storm just passed.
i'm pretty far away, not even on the beach. pic does the waves no justice
and maybe a somewhat decent dackground. i'm a photography noob, and its shot through a window screen.

Yeah I'm serious about it. Its so much fun, I think that there is more posibilites with sponging than surfing, Ex. you can DK, prone, standup, rolls, inverts, ARS.....
Its just so much fun. I just got down inverts like last week.
Where do you ride?

i live on the east coast and the only place ive ridden is ocean city. its a horrible horrible shore break. i can do prone 360s and dk 360s and im working on rollos now but its hard when you get a wave with a lip once every 2 weeks
