the skyline motor is in the mustang. look at the lights and then the chrome trim around the grill. it's very distinct to old mustangs. and the above poster is right who said that black can appear green. it may also have been before/after shots, because in the first picture, the mistang looks a little beat up

retarded, no, but i just am in denial that someone would be ****ing stupid enough to put a small motor in a mustang. But...then again, asian people are known to be small, maybe they were jealous of the mustangs large motor and had to make it more to their stature

I'm half and half. First, I hate anything thats carb'd. They are inefficient, annoying, need constant tuning and tinkering, just bad. So, in that respect, i was sort of kidding that at least the RB is fuel injected. Second, an old mustang's chassis in no way is able to handle a built RB. That, i am not kidding about. The sheer twist and flex caused by that motor would probably beat the chassis to hell in that old car...which may be why it's in there for a movie, as most movie cars get the crap kicked out of them, as that one looks like it did. So therefore, hooray Fuel Injection, boo chassis choice. Questions?

too bad you know hardly anything about carbs, you can get alot of power out of a carb, within one hp of fuel injection...some cases alot more than fuel injection....you dont always have to tune them either...you can set them and leave them be..

that mustanf chassis can hold the power of a built rb26, you just have to strengthen it with subframes and maybe a roll cage...i am sure you know since that car has hit the roads in the 60s, there was ALWAYS guy getting it faster and faster with a buttload of power....even the original chassis the motor came in when its well built has to be beefed up to take the extra power

To say I know nothing about carb's in an extreme mistake. My dad is the owner of a built 440 Roadrunner, and all we do on the weekends is mess with that and my car. Secondly, your arguement is off point. I didn't say you couldnt make power with carbs, i said they are inefficient and need tuning. There's a reason car manufacturers use EFI. ITS BETTER! Now about that mustang, if you have to put a full roll cage and subframes in it...seems like a waste of a capable motor in a car that really can't take advantage of it. There are plenty of original chassis car's with the RB that are built up that do not have either or, just more modern technology suspension, and chassis. Blue, I respect you, but come on now...a 60's mustang?

You do realize that they were sticking 400 hp engines in those things from the factory right?

I really think you know less about fuel injection than you do carbs. You have to tune them too you just do it with a lap top instead of a screw driver. Have you ever installed a injection system on an engine? I mean really installed one, aftermarket computer, fuel rail, ect. Have to deal fuel to air ratios, pulse times and a couple other things on top of that.

the point here is that that engine was not meant for anything like that old stang. period

edit: i'm pretty sure the boss had accomadating modifications outside of just a big engine...why is that is my question. cause the chassis wasn't exactly super
